This large book contains two books by James Mooney. They are
'Myths of the Cherokee' and 'The Sacred Formulas of the Cherokees'
as originally published by the Bureau of American Ethnology in 1900
and 1891 respectively.

In James Mooney's writings, the memory and culture, the mind and
spirit of a great people, the Cherokees, were saved from irreparable
loss by the effort and vision of a gifted anthropologist.

In this work 'unique' is genuinely appropriate and the author is
an authentic 'genius'.
