Grown on the warm coastal plains of California in sunny washes. White sage leaves are burned in ceremonies, in the home to clear the space of negative influences, and to promote calmness.
Two leaves in a cup of hot water makes a healthful beverage. A little honey can also be used in the tea if you like. The leaves may also be chewed as a natural breath freshener.
